This year's fayre looks like being quite different to previous fayres. Some of our producers will not be on show as the past year has been pretty mucky growing-wise and as a result their stocks are low or non-existent. So there won't be any delicious Henry of Harcourt Cider.
But there's good news - this year the goat girls at Sutton Grange Organic Farm are producing lots of winter milk. The real goaty-girls, not Carla and Ann-Marie! C and A-M launched their Holy Goat Cheeses at the Glenlyon Fine Food and Wine Fayre in 2003 - and this year they are back. That's wonderful news for fayre-goers.
And the * in the title? Sort of a pun - the fayre co-ordinator recently fell and broke both feet (legs).
